Apply Recertify or Check status for SNAP; TCA; TDAP; Medicaid; SLMB/QMB and Other State Income Programs

To apply; check a status; to recertify; check cash (Temporary Cash Assistance) or Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, formerly known as food stamp program) balance; upload case documentation; obtain case documentation; withdraw or terminate an existing case; report a change or request transfer of a case; appeal a case decision; or for any other outstanding information, use MD Think, link below.

The following programs are handled in MD Think: Elderly Simplified Application Program; Long Term Care Medicaid; Medicaid for seniors; Minimum State Supplemental Benefits; Specified Low Income Medicare Beneficiary (SLMB) and Qualified Medicare Beneficiary (QMB); Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, formerly known as food stamps); Temporary Cash Assistance (TCA); and Temporary Disability Assistance (TDAP).

Information can be dropped off at any of the three offices: Up county; Rockville and Silver Spring (check 2nd link for locations); uploaded to MD Think; emailed to [email protected] or faxed to respective office.

Sun bucks is a federal program that will automatically be considered as one applied for SNAP.
