Master Electrician's Original Signature Required on Electrical Application (as of 07.05.2016 Electrical Permits must be applied for online / Paper applications no longer accepted)

As of 07/05/2016, all Electrical Permits must be issued electronically. Paper applications will no longer be accepted. In order to apply online via the Dept. Of Permitting services site, Electrical Business(as)/Electrical Master(s) must have an account set up by the department with a single email address on record for both licenses. Electrical Business' can set up their account by coming into the office or send an email request for a user account to dps.eServices@montgomerycountymd.gov. Once an email address is provided, DPS will send an automated invitation to the applicant. They can then follow the instructions to set a private password they will use along with the provided email to login and apply uses the eServices page.
