Age/Size When Child Should Start Riding in Forward-Facing Car Seat

Maryland states that children must ride rear-facing until at least 2 years old. However, children should ride in a rear facing car seat until they reach the maximum height or weight limit of the car seat. The longer a child rides rear-facing, the safer they are.
