The law was changed to make it a 5-day right to cancel for certain types of home improvement door-to-door contracts; 7 days if you are over 65. There is no automatic right of cancellation of any and all contract. You may have a broader right of cancellation but only if cancellation is provided in the contract; the contract is a fraud; or there is a specific law pertaining to the contract.
