The State of Maryland provides a direct check payment of up to $750 a year for renters who paid rent in the State of Maryland and meet certain eligibility requirements. Click on the "Maryland Renter's Tax Credit Instructions & Application" link below for requirements and application.

Please note: When renter's qualify through the State program, and automatic referral is made for a supplemental credit through Montgomery County. The process is seamless to customer.
