Ride On Refund for Cash Lost in Bus Fare Box

Customers who have lost cash in a Ride On bus fare box not affiliated with the Smart Trip card, please provide name, address, phone number, date of incident, time of incident (including AM or PM), route number, destination, and bus number. In addition, please advise how much money was lost in the fare box. If applicable, refunds will be processed after investigation. For cash lost on SmarTrip card related issues or refunds, customer must call WMATA at 1.888.762.7874.
