Please note: the election officials in Maryland and across the nation do not declare "winners" on election night. It is the media who typically make such declarations.

Local election boards must insure that every ballot cast at early voting, election day, and Vote-by-Mail (Absentee) & provisional ballots are accounted for and tabulated.

The results will not be official until the State Board of Canvassers meets and certifies results.
