First Month's Rent or Security Deposit - HHS

The Department of Health and Human Services, Housing Stabilization Offices may be able to assist with up to three month's rent or security deposit if a prior housing emergency (i.e. homelessness, eviction, put out) existed.

An interview must be conducted. In the office, customers are seen on a first come, first served basis, however, one may do an interview by phone or by appointment. If an office visit is preferred, it is recommended that office visits be scheduled as well.
