Groceries on Line and Restaurant Meals Program Using SNAP EBT Card

Participating stores are now taking on line orders and deliveries for SNAP or food stamp benefits for recipients of the program. A consumer can use an EBT card to shop securely for fresh produce and groceries at participating stores in Maryland. Visit the online retailers to order groceries on line. Please note, delivery fees and other store charges may not be paid for by SNAP benefits. First link below has more information on how the programs work and how to sign up.

The Restaurant Meals Program (RMP) allows elderly, homeless, and disabled SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, food stamps) recipients to use their SNAP benefits for prepared or hot food from participating restaurants and delis. See second link for information and participating restaurants. Information for both programs may also be obtained by contacting: 1.800.332.6347, the State of Maryland Human Services Call Center.
