Sidewalk Snow Removal Bill Information

Montgomery Department of Transportation Highway Services is only responsible for snow removal on very limited sections of sidewalks that are high traffic corridors. Property owners and businesses are responsible for removing snow from sidewalks within 24 hours of the end of a snow event. However, the County Executive has extended the timeframe for snow and ice removal until Monday, February 2nd due to the storms impact. The link below will permit a resident to create a service request to report a business or residence that failed to clear the sidewalk.

In the event there is no residence or business at a location, Highway Services may review the location when the work load permits. Please call MC311 at 240.777.0311. Normal operating hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM.
