COVID-19 2021 Rental Housing Licensing Renewal and Common Ownership Communities (COC) Annual Registration on Hold

Due to Governor Hogan's March 12 Executive Order (as amended) relating to the extension of renewing expiring permits or licenses, the annual payment due date for Rental Housing Licensing Renewals and Common Ownership Communities Annual Registrations, normally July 31, is extended to the 60th day following the expiration of the state of emergency. At this time, an end date has not been announced.

However, to allow homeowners and management groups to make payments now if they wish, the Department of Housing and Community Affairs/Licensing and Registration Unit will mail out the invoices and accept payments for the 2021 Rental Housing Licensing Renewal and Common Ownership Communities Annual Registration. Invoices will be mailed according to the following schedule:

Multifamily, COC and Accessory Dwelling Units: Week of November 23.

Single family and Condos: Week of December 14.

Please note, the 2021 Rental License Renewal and COC Annual Registration fees are not being waived or prorated, simply pushed back. Please click on the links below for further information.
