Medicaid Card to Expire

A Managed Care Organization (MCO) may contact individuals when a Medicaid card is about to expire. Normally one has until the 20th of the month to submit a Medicaid renewal application. Recipients are notified by mail one to two months before the renewal application is due.

If the renewal date and card has expired, a new application will be required. Issues with Medicaid should be directed to your case worker, or if worker is unknown, contact the Office of Eligibility and Support Services (OESS) at: 240.777.1003
