Requirement for Condominium and Home Owners to be Current with Payment of Condominium and Homeowner Association Fees to Obtain a Rental License

The owner of a dwelling unit in a Common Ownership Community must certify the payment of Common Ownership Community fees are no more than 30 days past due in order to receive a rental license for the unit. The Common Ownership Community may charge the owner up to $25 to certify the fees are paid.

The governing body of a Common Ownership Community (COC) is responsible for notifying Licensing and Registration in writing when they have a recorded lien or unsatisfied judgment against a rental property owner for unpaid COC fees that are more than 30 days past due.
