A permit is required to close a County owned and maintained street for any type of event (e.g. race, parade, festival, etc.). The first step in this process is for the resident to fill out and submit a permit application form. The form can be found and downloaded from the website referenced below.
The completed form must be submitted 2 months prior to the event to the Montgomery County Department of Transportation Division of Traffic Engineering and Operations 100 Edison Park Drive, 4th Floor, Gaithersburg, MD 20878, or emailed to [email protected].
