Effective July 1, 2023, eligible retirees and others receiving annuity payments from the Montgomery County Employees Retirement System (ERS), will receive a Cost-of-Living-Adjustment (COLA). The amount of the adjustment is based on the change in the Consumer Price Index-All Urban Consumers, Washington-Arlington-Alexandria, DC-VA-WVA (CPI-U) from May 2021 to May 2022 as defined in the County Code, Section 33-44(c)(3). A COLA letter is usually mailed out by July 1st to Retirees. If a COLA letter was not received, it can be accessed by clicking on the link below.
