The Department of Transportation, Division of Highway Services clears over 5,200 lane miles of county maintained streets. The State of Maryland (301.513.7300) maintains routes (i.e., Rt. 355, 270, 28, etc.) and municipalities such as City of Rockville, City of Gaithersburg, etc. maintain city owned streets.
