County space can be used for a variety of uses such as civic meetings, community recreation, performances, religious gatherings and classes. Personal celebrations are not generally allowed in MCPS or County meetings (except for the Silver Spring Civic Building at Veterans Plaza and Recreation Centers). If a personal celebration (birthday, retirement, wedding, confirmation, bar mitzvah parties, funeral, etc.) is the reason for the rental, please contact the Recreation Department or M-NCPPC. Limited political activities and small enterprise activities are allowed at most locations. Photography and filming requires special permission.
