Thanksgiving basket referrals are in progress, residents can expect notification of pick-up date, time, and place. The deadline for a December referral is November 22, 2024. If a referral cannot be made be made to one of the referral sources noted below, online users should contact 311 (240.777.0311 dialing from outside Montgomery County) Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
The Holiday Giving Project (HGP) for holiday food baskets and gift giving, including toys when available, is open to Montgomery County residents in financial need. A referral to the program is not a guarantee of service, as the County relies on community donations which can be limited and vary. Every effort is made to fulfill all requests.
For a referral, contact your case worker, the agency that provides your benefits, HOC resident counselor or your child's MCPS pupil personnel worker or school counselor.
