Questions About Rental Assistance Program (RAP) Check or Benefit Issuance

Rental Assistance Program (RAP) checks are mailed to the customer's address at the end of each month for the following month's rent. Eligible households receive between $100 and $503, made payable to the customer and landlord. Benefits are approved for a maximum period of 12 months. When the eligibility period expires, recipients must complete a new application for benefits. Contact the office by sending a service request if the monthly RAP check is not received. NOTE: The RAP program is closed to new participants. Only a case manager or other helping organizations can refer interested people. One cannot self-refer to the program.
