Each day a Residential Building Plan Reviewer is available to answer questions about the building code applicable to construction projects. Walk-in visits are accepted in the Department of Permitting Services offices at 2425 Reedie Drive, 7th Floor, Wheaton, MD 20902 between the hours of 7:30 AM and 4:00 PM Monday through Friday. For complex or unusual projects, a more formal meeting called a 'Pre-Design' consultation, may be scheduled to answer a wide range of questions about a project and how DPS will handle the review.
