The Montgomery County Government created the Neighborhood Events Matching Funds (NEMF) program to encourage people in the community to get involved, support local growth, and help the economy. The program is managed by five Regional Service Offices: Bethesda-Chevy Chase, East County, Mid-County, Silver Spring, and Up County. Local groups like non-profits, neighborhood organizations, block groups, tenant associations, and civic clubs can apply for money to hold events and other activities that provide a community benefit. Grants given are up to $1,000. Please apply for grants at link below.
