If a school is closed for a full day during the normal work week or closes early, any community use activities will automatically be cancelled as well. Community Use of Public Facilities (CUPF) makes decisions for weekends and holiday cancellations in schools while government buildings follow different criteria. Closing decisions are made daily, usually by 7:00 AM and CUPF posts information online, sends an email to the listserv and notifies local media.
