Montgomery County Banking & Online Payment Changes 2026 Transition Guide

Montgomery County is upgrading its banking and online payment systems in 2026. We are transitioning banking services to JP Morgan Chase and online credit card and ACH/eCheck payment processing to Paymentus. These updates will enhance your payment experience and offer expanded options, including credit card, ACH/eCheck, and digital wallet payments.

The following changes will occur:

  • County banking transactions will be handled by JP Morgan Chase.
  • Online payments will be hosted by and processed by Paymentus.
  • All payments include ACH/eCheck at no extra cost.
  • Credit card and digital wallet payments will have a 2.45% service fee unless absorbed by specific programs.

Business bank accounts using ACH/eCheck must have pre-authorization for debits from Paymentus (ACH Company ID 0000408976) to prevent returned payments.

If the online payment app being used has been updated to the County's new user authentication, iamMoCo, users will see a new login screen titled iamMoCo and be prompted to change their password.
