The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) will adjust 31 Ride On bus route schedules starting Sunday, January 11, 2026. These changes will improve efficiency and on-time performance. The changes also reflect a shift of resources to allow for more reliable service where there is higher demand.

The 31 route changes include:

5, 7, 8, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 20, 21, 22, 24, 26, 27, 28, 29, 37, 45, 46, 55, 61, 65, 73, 76, 78, 79, 90, 101, Lime and Pink.

The following 6 routes will have changes in Bus Bays:

34 - new bus bay is Bay D at Bethesda, Bus Stop 20306

36 - new bus bay is Bay H at Bethesda, Bus Stop 30283

42 - new bus bay is Bay D at North Bethesda, Bus Stop 15570

70 - new bus bay is Bay H at Bethesda, Bus Stop 30283

81 - new bus bay is Bay D at North Bethesda, Bus Stop 15570

PINK - new bus bay is Bay C at Traville Transit, Bus Stop 30266
