COBRA Eligibility and Process

COBRA provides for the continuation of current health coverage for former County employees and their dependents. When COBRA is offered, a notice is automatically mailed to the employee's address on record. In the event of divorce, the member or ex-spouse must provide their new address to the Health Insurance Team. If no address is received, notice will be sent to member's address of record. COBRA coverage is handled by VOYA. For more information about this insurance coverage:
