Letters have been sent to 5,000 randomly selected households in Montgomery County inviting those residents to participate in the County's 2024 resident satisfaction survey. Those households can take the survey online with the link and access code provided in the letter and will also receive a paper copy of the survey which may be used to respond instead of going online if desired. A reminder letter will be sent to all 5,000 households, which can be ignored if the household has already taken the survey online or mailed back the paper copy. The survey opens on the 13th of September and must be taken by September 26, 2024, to be counted.
County leadership and management use the data from the survey to inform decision-making and to help shape the future of Montgomery County. Some of the ratings are also indicators for County Government performance.
There is an identical public "opt-in" online survey that will allow all other County residents to respond to the same exact questions as the random-sample survey and share their opinions.
No personally identifying information will be shared. For the opt-in survey a zip is code is requested only to help aggregate responses (respondents can provide an email address at the end, but it is not mandatory). The link to access the survey will be available on the 13th. Respondents can take the survey on a computer, tablet, or phone with this link. Please note browsers OTHER THAN Internet Explorer are recommended.
