The City of Rockville Housing and Community Development provides a range of community services, including utility and rental assistance, emergency financial aid, family care management, youth development programs, and mental health counseling. Staff also offer seminars on financial empowerment, affordable housing, social services, youth mental health, substance use prevention, conflict resolution, and stress management. These services support family self-sufficiency and overall well-being.
In addition to these services, the department provides referrals to local human service providers offering financial assistance, housing and temporary shelter, emergency food, childcare, treatment for drug and alcohol misuse, health care, mental health services, and more.
