Bus Ads for HIV Testing

Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services, Public Health Services, HIV/STI Services office appreciates all feedback about the Do It For You, county campaign. The campaign features a variety of county residents.

Due to the high rate of HIV transmissions, Montgomery County was chosen as a priority jurisdiction for the federal Ending the HIV Epidemic initiative in 2019. The campaign was created as part of the county's Plan to End HIV by 2030.

Working with county residents, nonprofits, healthcare providers and sexual health experts, the advertisement campaign was intentionally designed to be sex-positive, LGBTQ-inclusive, and one that addresses head-on the stigma and shame that often prevent conversations about sexual health and safety.
