To file a complaint or report an accident regarding an elevator or escalator in Montgomery County, please contact the State of Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation (DLLR) at 410.767.2990 Monday through Friday during normal business hours (7:00 AM to 5:00 PM). Note: DLLR handles complaints about mal-functioning elevators, door that do not stay open or close properly or at all, elevators that bounce up and down, etc. The office do not handle complaints regarding elevators that don?t work at all.
