Campaign Signs

Campaign signs may be displayed at polling locations outside the "No Electioneering" boundary at 5:00 pm the day before the polls open (Early Voting beginning October 24 or Election Day, November 5, 2024). Candidates must remove signs from polling sites immediately by 8:00 AM the next day after the closure of the polling location. Political signs at all other locations must be removed in compliance with the County and State sign regulations. If a sign is on private property, the owner should remove them. Complaints regarding campaign signs on County roadways should be directed to the Department or Permitting Services (see link below to make a complaint online). Complaints regarding campaign signs on State (numbered) roads should be directed to the State Highway Administration Western District Office 301.513.7300 or main number 1-800-749-0737.
