The Montgomery County Office of Procurement and Department of Finance will launch a new vendor registration system on September 2, 2024. The Montgomery County Vendor Registration System (CVRS) is the one-stop registration system for anyone who is interested in doing business or receiving payments from Montgomery County. All individuals and vendors must register in the CVRS to receive payment from Montgomery County, affiliated agencies, departments, and/or programs. This includes landlords who are renting to a tenant who is receiving funding from the county Rental Assistance Program, as checks are made out to landlords. There is no fee for registering in the system.
New vendors will need to set up an account, Existing vendors may use their old user name and password on the new system. If an existing vendor has NO CHANGES, no action is needed at all.
For new businesses or individuals who are interested in becoming a supplier to Montgomery County, go to the URL and follow the instructions on how to register for a single sign on and password. Complete the registration. Existing suppliers who seek to update information will need to create a new sign on using existing sign on information from the old CVRS to make changes to their record.
All legal name changes are reviewed and approved by Montgomery County Accounts Payable. To start the formal legal name change process, an updated copy of your W9 is needed, stating the new legal name and current taxpayer ID. Submit your request to [email protected].
