The Commercial District Charge is a fee paid by property owners in Friendship Heights for marketing, placemaking, and beautification. It is payable to Montgomery County and charged through annual tax bills. The funds collected are then transferred to the Friendship Heights Alliance (click link below) who in turn creates the community events, website, markets the district, and enhances the care of the district streets.
