Workforce Housing Program

Montgomery County's Workforce Housing (WFH) Program makes affordable housing available for rent and purchase to households who live and work in Montgomery County but whose incomes are too high to participate in the County's Moderately Priced Dwelling Unit (MPDU) program. Notice to all current Workforce Housing homeowners still under the control period: Effective in 2025, the Department of Housing and Community Affairs will be sending out annual certifications to confirm your continued residency in your home. You must 1) complete the form and 2) return it and all required documents to DHCA by June 30, 2025. The certification packet includes a sample of the documents to satisfy proof of current residency; please refer to those as needed. The form and instructions are available on the third link.
