To register as a massage therapist with Montgomery County, bring the following to the Licensure & Regulatory Services (L&R) division: an active Maryland State License; a letter from the employer; and a photo ID. There is no fee, however, other fees may apply (see application). All persons wishing to provide massages in Montgomery County must be licensed by the Maryland State Board of Chiropractic Examiners (1.410.764.4738: 1.877.463.3464: Fax: 1.410.358.1879). It takes approximately 30 days to process a license.
