Chickens and Roosters cannot be located within 100 feet of an adjacent dwelling. Although there is not a limit on the number of animals a resident may own, animals must have proper space, air, sanitation and food/water. Under MC Code Chapter 5, allowing the animal to cause noise that is loud and persistent enough to disturb another person's quiet enjoyment may be considered a public nuisance violation
