The deadline to register in advance to vote OR to update name, address, and/or party affiliation for the 2024 General Election is Tuesday October 15, 2024 (5:00 PM in person, 11:59 PM online). Please see first link below (and hyperlinks within) for voter registration deadlines, how to update existing voter registration information including name change, check voter registration and party affiliation, and to download voter registration forms. Be sure to bring documentation that proves where you live when you visit your early voting center or your local Election Day polling place to register to vote. Documentation to prove where you live, includes an MVA-issued license, ID card, learner's permit or change of address card, your paycheck, bank statement, utility bill, or other government document with your name and new address.

You may also register to vote during Early Voting and on Election Day at your polling location. Registered voters can review/update their voter record by texting CHECK to 77788 or check voter look up link. One may also dial: 240.777.8500 to verify their voter registration using the automated phone system or for assistance.
