Behavioral Health Planning and Management - Local Behavioral Health Authority (LBHA) is the local behavioral health, (mental health and substance abuse) authority in the County. The LBHA was formerly Core Service Agency.
LBHA is an oversight group ensuring consumers have access to quality treatment and rehabilitation services. They provide for the planning, oversight, monitoring, evaluation and service development of the Public Mental Health System which consists of community-based services in Montgomery County. The LBHA does not provide direct services.
