The Montgomery County Family Justice Center (FJC) is a comprehensive one-stop center for victims of family violence and their children, housing a variety of services for families. Their main goal is to help victims in a specially designed facility where families can feel safe and comfortable.
Available services at the center include: Safety Planning; Legal Advocacy for assistance with filing for a protective order or with criminal charges; Legal Representation for Civil Protective Orders at no charge; counseling for adults and children and shelter placement. Sheriff's deputies are on site to provide expedited service of orders if issued. There are no fees for services at the FJC. FJC is located at: 600 Jefferson Plaza, Suite 500, Rockville, MD. (on Rt. 355 at the intersection of Rockville Pike and Jefferson St.). Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, 240.773.0444. For after hours, customers may contact the Abused Persons Program (APP) at 240.777.4195.
The FJC provides free garage parking in the building on the Jefferson Street side of the Center and there is street parking available. The FJC is located in the "Eagle Building" at 600 Jefferson Plaza, 5th Floor, Rockville, MD 20852 (near Route 355, the intersection of Rockville Pike and Jefferson Street).
