Complaints about food poisoning from food eaten at a restaurant or purchased from a vendor or other food establishment, should be reported to the Department of Health and Human Services, Licensure and Regulatory (L&R) Services. Call the office at: 240.777.3986, option 1 for English or option 2 for Spanish, then option 4 to speak with a live person.
In the event of a medical emergency, please visit a local Hospital Emergency Room. A report of food poisoning may also be filed at the L&R Office: 2425 Reedie Drive, 9th Floor, Wheaton, MD. 20902 between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Monday through Friday.
