The Special Needs Fund is a program available to individuals living with behavioral health conditions who need special items and/or services which are not reimbursable under the State Public Behavioral Health System (PBHS) or other state, local, nonprofit, or private programs. Special needs may include but are not limited to non-cosmetic dental procedures, optical care, adaptive equipment, etc. This is a one-time, last resort, fund to be used once all other available resources have been exhausted.
