Effective July 1, 2021 Montgomery County seniors and people with disabilities ride FREE all the time on MCDOT's buses, including Ride On, Ride On Extra, Ride On Flex and Flash and selected Metro buses if they tap the fare box with a Senior SmarTrip Card, valid Metro Reduced Fare ID card, Metro Disabled Identification Card, or Metro Disabled Identification attendant eligible card, or Medicare Card along with a photo ID.
