Montgomery County Department of Transportation (DOT) replaces street name signs on roads owned and maintained by MCDOT. For traffic signs (e.g., speed limit, warning signs, crosswalk sign, etc.) The Division of Traffic Engineering and Operations only installs signs on County maintained roadways. For street signs on privately-owned roadways, please contact the Homeowner's Association. For City signs, please contact the appropriate municipality.
