Montgomery County Government identified an error in Box 14 of the 2025 Form W-2 originally issued. The amount of eligible overtime (OT) dollars was overstated.
- Impact: This error affects Box 14 only and does not change federal wages, taxable wages, or any federal, state, or local tax withholdings.
- Action: A corrected Form W-2 (Form W-2c) will be issued shortly with the accurate OT dollars.
If you have already filed your 2025 tax return and need to file an amended return due to this correction, Montgomery County Government will reimburse costs for filing the amendment upon receipt of a written request and supporting documentation.
