The SON Staff are based throughout Montgomery County. High risk target areas are a focus based on youth gang activity and crimes committed by youth in communities. The SON Program goals are to prevent, reduce, and intervene with youth or gang violence; provide high risk and gang involved youth and families with quality outreach and referrals; develop youth leadership skills and cognitive development through sound youth development concepts. High risk target populations include: High risk youth and gang involved youth and their families throughout the County. SON Staff in partnership with Non Profits, MCPD, MCPS, and other Government agencies work diligently to achieve our mission.
