Obtain Immunization Records

The Montgomery County Public School system has copies of records on microfilm starting in the 1990's. MCPS central records is the keeper of stored files. MCPS central records can be contacted at: 240-740-5270. If they do not have the immunization record stored, Montgomery County HHS, Immunization Program, may be able to provide information on options such as re-vaccination or titers to provide proof of immunity. The Immunization Clinic records are kept for 5 years before they are sent to the County archives. Other county clinics also maintain records. Parents are encouraged to register their child/children at MD.MyIR.net. It is the ImmuNet database which is Maryland's Immunization Registry. It is free and keeps track of your immunization record and is the place where you can obtain your official vaccination records. See link below.
