Maryland Cannabis Transit Advertisements

The Maryland Cannabis Administration (MCA) is requesting that all state transit agencies run advertising to educate the public on using cannabis legally and safely. Ride On bus exterior and bus shelter ads have been provided by the MCA. Please note the following:

  • The advertiser is MCA, a state government agency
  • The message is to get the facts about the legal use of cannabis, not to promote its' use
  • Marylanders voted to legalize cannabis use for adults 21 and older. This law becomes effective July 1, 2023
  • The link below is directed to a government agency (MCA) with details about the new law
  • All questions should be directed to the MCA and not Montgomery County Department of Transportation, Transit Ride On
