Free Computers Through Montgomery Connects

Montgomery County has received a Federal Grant to provide computers for residents who do not have access to a computer. There is a limit of one computer per household for Maryland County residents. Individual recipients must be at least 7 years old. U.S. Citizenship is not required. The County is using a registration system to manage computer pick-ups. You must get a County library card or digital card number before you register. You must bring a photo ID and proof of address when picking up the computer. Every person, including children must appear in person to pick up the computer. Click on the first link below for details, to register for an appointment, and to see distribution dates and times. For assistance in making an appointment, please call the Marylander Online Help Hotline at 301.405.9810, Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM or on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Help is available in English and Spanish and in other languages upon request. You can email questions to montgomeryconnects@montgomerycountymd.gov.
