Maximum Occupancy for BEDROOM

Whether a space is overcrowded depends on the size of the bedroom. There must be a minimum of 70 square feet for the 1st person. Rooms occupied by 2 or more people must have 50 square feet for each additional person in a room. See Section 26-5(b) of Chapter 26, Housing and Building and Maintenance Standards on the attached link for the Code reference.
