The Glen Hills Area Sanitary Study was conducted by the Department of Environmental Protection. The study researched current conditions of septic systems (on-site systems) in the community to evaluate their long-term sustainability. The results of the study were used by the County Council to establish sewer service policies for the study area, which are now incorporated into the County's Water and Sewer Plan.
For inquiries requiring the response of a DEP planner, requestors will typically be contacted within 3 days although resolution of the issue may take longer depending on the circumstances of the case.
