Rent Stabilization Bill with Department of Housing and Community Affairs

The Office of Rent Stabilization (ORS) is now operational as the Rent Stabilization Regulation went into effect on July 23, 2024. Regulated units may be units that were built 23 or more years prior and rented by landlords who either rent three or more units in Montgomery County or rent one or more units that are owned by a business entity such as an LLC, LP, corporation, etc.
